Program overview

AgreenTech is designed to stimulate the emergence of high-potential projects in the fields of sustainable agriculture, agri-food, smart water management, the circular economy, resource valorization, energy applied to agricultural systems, and technologies serving local territories.

Through this program, the Euromed Innovation Center aims to actively contribute to the emergence of a new generation of project leaders capable of offering concrete, innovative, and sustainable responses to the current challenges facing our agricultural and environmental ecosystems.

The program combines methodological support, strategic framing, needs validation, business model structuring, coaching, mentoring, field testing, and preparation for networking with academic, institutional, technical, and economic partners.

Objective

Foster the emergence and structuring of AgriTech and GreenTech projects that are useful for the region, with a focus on impact, field feasibility, and deployment potential.

Who is it for?

Open to any project leader based in Morocco (individual or team), with no university affiliation requirement.

Accepts idea-stage project leaders (ideation) as well as teams with a prototype or proof of concept.

Solutions must address at least one of the 4 priority focus areas: smart water management, precision agriculture & digitalization, climate resilience, value chains & market access.

Eligibility condition

Applications closed on May 3, 2026. The 1st edition is in its post-bootcamp support phase through September 2026.

Launch of the call for projects

Official opening of applications and outreach to partner institutions and project leaders.

Reception and selection of applications

Review of application files by the program team and pre-selection of high-potential projects.

Selection committee

Presentation of the projects before a jury, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders. Session held on May 5, 2026.

Framing bootcamp

Two days of work on the problem, the solution, the target, the value proposition, the market, and the impact. Bootcamp held on May 13-14, 2026 with 11 projects and 22 project leaders.

Post-bootcamp support

Project follow-up, mentoring and support on deliverables through September 2026.

La première édition d’AgreenTech a réuni 11 projets et 22 porteurs pour un bootcamp de cadrage les 13-14 mai 2026 à l’Euromed Innovation Center. Les candidatures ont été closes le 03 mai 2026 et les projets sont accompagnés en phase post-bootcamp jusqu’en septembre 2026.

Selection was based on an application file reviewed by the program team and a committee of experts. The selection criteria notably covered the relevance of the problem being addressed, the innovative nature of the solution, technical and operational feasibility, impact potential, the team's motivation, and the project's ability to benefit from the program.
