From idea to startup. The EIC general ideation program
Program overview
Idea'Wave is aimed at leaders of an innovative project at the idea stage and at young companies, anywhere in Morocco, whether or not they come from a university.
Selected projects take part in a two-day ideation bootcamp at the EIC to move from a problem to a testable idea, followed by post-bootcamp support with coaching, training and mentoring.
Idea'Wave builds on STARTECH, the EIC's ideation program, and carries forward what it achieved.
Objective
Help leaders of innovative ideas structure their project, test their idea and join the EIC ecosystem.
Who is it for?
Leader(s) of an innovative project at the idea stage, residing in Morocco; or
A company under Moroccan law registered in the trade register for 5 years or less, whose founders reside in Morocco.
The project falls within one of the program's 7 strategic innovation areas.
Application file: online form, pitch deck, 2-minute video pitch, team contact details and CVs, LinkedIn links, logo (optional). Applications are accepted in Arabic, French or English.

Selection process
Applications are pre-selected by the program team, then reviewed by a selection committee using a 100-point grid: innovation, technological feasibility, team, business model, scalability and project maturity. A bonus is awarded to projects with an environmental impact.
