How many startups has the Euromed Innovation Center supported, and with what results? Here are the key figures of the EIC ecosystem and a few concrete success stories.
The EIC in numbers (2024-2026)
| Indicator | Value | |------------|--------| | Startups & projects supported (24 months) | 174 | | Women entrepreneurs supported | 53% | | People trained in entrepreneurship | +546 | | Hours of training delivered | +675 | | Institutional & private partners mobilized | 27 | | External funding raised by the startups | +2 M USD | | National & international awards | 8 |
These figures cover all of the EIC's programs — from ideation to acceleration — over a 24-month period (2024-2026).
Startups that went through the EIC
Impact is measured above all by concrete trajectories. A few startups supported by the EIC:
DeepLeaf — AgriTech (Tech4Farmers)
An AI-powered crop disease diagnosis solution. DeepLeaf won the 1st prize Supernova at GITEX Africa 2025 (50,000 USD), raised 1.6 M USD and launched an international rollout, including a partnership reaching 35,000 farmers (Hassad Food, Qatar).
POGO — Urban mobility
An urban mobility platform present in 4 Moroccan cities (Fès, Agadir, Ben Guerir, Marrakech), with more than 30,000 trips completed and 1.7 M MAD raised. Website: pogo.ma.
NEOBAC — EdTech (STARTECH)
An educational platform that already has 8,000 active users, with no advertising budget. Websites: neobac.ma and app.neobac.ma.
Cyber Sqool — Cybersecurity / EdTech (STARTECH, Oujda)
The first B2B cybersecurity program dedicated to private schools in Morocco, born from the STARTECH edition of the Oriental region, already in its first-customers phase. Website: cybersqool.ma.
Alwarid — HealthTech / AI
An intelligence layer that grafts onto existing hospital systems to make medical data immediately readable by the physician, without replacing anything. Designed for the Moroccan context of the Shared Medical Record (DMP) and the AMO, Alwarid was presented at the national hackathon RamadanIA 2026 (Ministry of Digital Transition), driven by a team of AI engineers from the EIC ecosystem.
Why these results?
The EIC does not merely spot ideas: it structures a complete journey, from ideation to acceleration, supported by a network of 27 partners, both institutional and private (UEMF, Tamwilcom, Bank of Africa, AFD, GIZ, Enabel, European Union…). It is this continuum that turns support into commercial traction and international recognition.
