The Euromed Innovation Center (EIC) is the incubator and innovation hub of Université Euromed de Fès (UEMF), in Morocco. Founded in 2019, it supports project leaders, students and researchers from idea to market.
What is the Euromed Innovation Center?
The EIC is UEMF's support structure for innovative entrepreneurship. Its mission: to turn innovative ideas into sustainable projects with strong socio-economic impact. In practice, it offers ideation programs, hackathons, incubation and acceleration, as well as access to workspaces and a FABLAB, mentoring and a network of partners.
The EIC is also a Partner Support Structure (SAP) of the Fonds Innov Invest (Ideation segment), a label awarded by Tamwilcom during its 3rd edition (2024).
What programs does the EIC offer?
The EIC runs 7 programs that cover the entire entrepreneurial journey:
- STARTECH — general-purpose ideation
- AgreenTech — AgriTech / GreenTech ideation and pre-incubation
- Tech4Farmers — AgriTech incubation (6 months)
- AInnovathon — AI hackathon (72h, health & education)

Depending on the program, access is open to the UEMF community as well as to external candidates — with certain calls for projects specifically targeting regions of Morocco (Fès-Meknès, Drâa-Tafilalet, L'Oriental).
Where is the EIC located?
The EIC is based on the campus of Université Euromed de Fès, Route Nationale Fès-Meknès, in Fès, Morocco. Several programs are also rolled out in the regions or in a hybrid format.
Who supports the EIC?
The EIC is run by UEMF and relies on a network of public, financial and international partners, notably Tamwilcom (Fonds Innov Invest), Bank of Africa, the French Development Agency (AFD), GIZ, Enabel, the European Union, the Union for the Mediterranean, the European Investment Bank, IEMed, the Anna Lindh Foundation and CRI Fès-Meknès.
How do you join or apply to the EIC?
Each program has its own dedicated page and application form at euromedinnovation.center/en/programs. If you are unsure which program suits your project, you can contact the EIC directly — the first orientation is free and with no commitment.
