On 30 June 2026, the Euromed University of Fès took a major step forward by signing a strategic framework agreement with three key players in Morocco's economic and digital development: ANAPEC, CGEM Fès-Meknès, and the Digital Development Agency (ADD).
A training program rooted in industry
The flagship component of this agreement is the creation of a one-year training program enabling technicians holding a Bac+2 to earn a Bac+3 degree specialized in Industry 4.0. The pathway combines theoretical instruction, hands-on workshops, immersion at the Fez Smart Factory, and company internships, ensuring rapid and qualified professional integration.
This program responds directly to the regional industrial fabric's needs for advanced digital skills: robotics, industrial IoT, predictive maintenance, and the operation of connected production lines.
The Flash Diagnostic: a concrete tool for SMEs
Beyond training, the agreement establishes a free Flash Diagnostic for SMEs in the Fès-Meknès region. This service allows each company to quickly assess its digital maturity and receive concrete recommendations to begin or accelerate its transition toward Industry 4.0.
The goal is twofold: to identify the real needs on the ground and to steer future graduates toward high-impact assignments.
A strong signal for the regional ecosystem
This partnership confirms the positioning of UEMF and the Euromed Innovation Center as catalysts of innovation and employability in the region. By bringing together the national employment agency, the regional employers' organization, and the digital agency around the same table, UEMF consolidates its role as a bridge between training, research, and the economic fabric.
This initiative adds to the many EIC programs — HACK'DAYS, Tech4Farmers, AInnovathon — that support skills development and entrepreneurship across the Fès-Meknès, Drâa-Tafilalet, and Oriental regions.
