UEMF confirms its position as a leader

The Round University Ranking (RUR) 2026 has just been released and confirms what the university community anticipated: the Euromed University of Fès retains its top national position, for the second consecutive year.

This global ranking, which evaluates universities across four dimensions — teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability — praises the upward trajectory of an institution founded barely more than a decade ago.

The pillars of excellence

Several factors explain this performance:

Cutting-edge research. UEMF's laboratories cover artificial intelligence, digital engineering, health sciences, comparative law, and renewable energy. International publications and filed patents attest to a research ecosystem reaching full maturity.

International openness. With more than 50 nationalities represented on its campus and partnerships with universities in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, UEMF embodies the Euro-Mediterranean dialogue it carries in its name.

Innovation and entrepreneurship. The Euromed Innovation Center (EIC) translates academic excellence into concrete impact: six support programs (STARTECH, HACK'DAYS, AgreenTech, Tech4Farmers, AInnovathon, MedYouth Lab), a Fab Lab, a coworking space, and direct access to the Innov Invest fund through its partners.
