The week of June 23, 2026 marked a high point for the Euromed University of Fès, with the reception of three international delegations over the span of three days.

The OECD and the Fès-Meknès CRI for the agriculture of tomorrow

On June 23, a delegation from the OECD visited the UEMF's agri-technology platform together with the Fès-Meknès CRI. Discussions focused on the Agritech experimental farm of the eco-campus, with an emphasis on water resource optimization, energy efficiency, digital technologies applied to agriculture, and climate adaptation. This visit lays the groundwork for future joint projects in sustainable and smart agriculture.

The Delegation of the European Union to Morocco

That same day, the Delegation of the European Union to Morocco made an official visit to the UEMF. This visit continues the close relations between the European institutions and the university, following the study visit by trainees of the European Commission on June 8.

The Ambassador of the United Kingdom

On June 25, the UEMF welcomed His Excellency the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Morocco to explore prospects for academic and scientific cooperation. The discussions focused on research, innovation, and bilateral university exchanges.

Confirmed international standing

These three visits in a single week illustrate the UEMF's position as a benchmark player in higher education and innovation in Morocco. They echo the Mediterranean Prizes 2026 awarded in April under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and the Industry 4.0 partnership signed on June 30.
